Goldfinches would visit our garden every summer. They were my kids’ mom’s favorite and she always said I needed to photograph one. I finally captured this guy, guarding his cache of echinacea seeds. First print hangs on my mother’s wall. Second print was traded to artist Dan Gluibizzi for a set of his paintings.
2021 / Stockton, NJ
I made the frame from wood salvaged from a hand-carved 19th-century Chinese screen that my girlfriend gifted me during a Golden Nugget Flea Market visit on my birthday.
Giclee print on velvet fine art paper: 13” X 18.25”
Frame Size: 17” X 22”
